Parents with intellectual disability are invited to join us to learn about self advocacy, connect with other parents and have a pizza lunch!

Positive Powerful Parents was contacted a journalist from the Link Disability Magazine to do a story about PPP.

Positive Powerful Parents in partnership with Community Living Association in Queensland and Queenslanders with Disability Network held an event for parents with intellectual disability on May 15th at the Mercure Spring Hill Brisbane.
The event was a success with parents sharing information about Self Advocacy, the groups they are connected to and why it is important to have groups for parents to connect.
Well done Crystal, Michelle and Romeo for sharing the MC role of this event!
Parents and supporters also created some strong Self Advocacy Art Work. See pictures below.
This event is in Queensland for parents with intellectual disability.
