The people, a sense of belonging and discovering who I am.
PPP has made me aware of a different world that is our there for parents with disability, one that is non-judgemental.

Becoming a really good self advocate. With new skills I have become a better leader and I can set good examples.

It means helping other people, speaking up, promoting PPP and trying to make a change.
What do you like about being a parent?
The LOVE, there is so much to say about being a parent. I love watching my kids grow. My daughter reminds me of myself and what I looked like when I was younger. You get the good, bad and ugly. I love being a parent.

I don’t have free time. I do around the house jobs. I love to get out in the garden, in the veggie garden, play with my kids and tend to my animals.

I would correct the family law courts, correct how people with disability are treated, correct discrimination, correct the law and make it easier for farmers.
